ONA (or Ona) is a VOCALOID being developed by Voctro Labs, S.L. which can sing in Catalan and Spanish. She and another VOCALOID, MAIKA, share the same voice provider, but the provider's identity has not been revealed.History ONA made her first appearance at Mercè Festival at Ciutadella Park on September 20th.[2] The project was a collaboration of The Lab Barcelona, La Merced (ICUB) and Voctro Labs.[3]
This concert featured a model of her singing on stage, where people backstage can control her movement. People at the concert will also be able to propose the lyrics she sings via Twitter. As well as ONA, Bruno & Clara will also make an appearance at the concert. Concept Etymology
ONA means 'wave' in Catalan.

ONA was illustrated by Inés Campos. She has a more eastern aesthetic and her outfit was inspired by the mosaic works of Antoni Gaudí. On her back, she has waveform-like pattern. | |
